USGA RULES SHALL GOVERN ALL PLAY

FORMAT: 9 Hole, 18 Hole, or 36 hole Stroke Play depending on the respective event

TIME OF STARTING: All players must be at the first tee exactly 10 minutes before their given starters time. If the player arrives at his starting point ready to play within 5 minutes of their starting time, in the absence of circumstances which warrant waiving the penalty of disqualification, the penalty for failure to start on time is two strokes, instead of disqualification.

EMBEDDED BALL: Through the green a ball which is embedded in its own pitch mark, in the ground other than sand, may be lifted without penalty, cleaned and dropped as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole. The ball when dropped must first strike a part of the course through the green.

GROUND UNDER REPAIR: Defined by connected white lines. Also, all french drains, which are exposed trenches filled with stones.

YELLOW PENALTY AREAS : Defined by Yellow Stakes/Lines

RED PENALTY AREAS: Defined by Red Stakes/Lines

OBSTRUCTIONS: In addition to artificially surfaced roads and paths, white lined areas tying into such roads and paths are considered part of the obstruction and not ground under repair. Wood chips and mulch are loose impediments.

DOUBT AS TO PROCEDURE:  Rule 20.1c(3): In stroke play, if a player is uncertain about the right procedure while playing a hole he / she may complete the whole with two balls without penalty. The player must decide to play two balls without penalty. The player must decide to play two balls after the uncertain situation arises and before making a stroke. The player should choose which ball will count if the Rules allow the procedure used for that ball, by announcing that choice to his or her marker or to another playr beefore making a stroke.
