CHANDLER, Ariz. (Dec. 9, 2018)  New Jersey native Max Greyserman and two-time MGA Player of the Year Michael Miller of Brewster, N.Y., both finished inside the top 20 at the Web.com Tour Final Stage to earn playing status on the tour for 2019. With 135 players in the field at Whirlwind Golf Club, only the top 40 (and ties) earned guaranteed starts on the Tour in 2019. While the medalist receives fully exempt status for 2019 and finishers 2-10 (and ties) earn guaranteed entry into the first 12 events, Greyserman and Miller both earn guaranteed entry into the first eight events of the 2019 Web.com Tour regular season.

With players going low from the beginning, Greyserman, of Short Hills, N.J., had a steady start with rounds of 67-69, but sat outside the position that would earn him starts. However, the 23-year-old made a big move in the third round, firing a bogey-free 10-under 62 that included eight birdies and an eagle. A final round 68 led to his 22-under total as he finished tied for 13th in his first-ever Web.com Tour Final Stage appearance. Greyserman competed on the Mackenzie Tour (PGA TOUR Canada) in 2018, making five cuts in eight events and finishing tied for 14th three times. He also competed in the 103rd Met Open Presented by Callaway at Wykagyl, where he finished tied for 21st.

Meanwhile, Miller, 26, opened with rounds of 67-65 and sat comfortably inside the top-40 heading into the weekend. Miller lost some ground by playin his first 14 holes in even-par during round three, but an eagle on the 15th and a closing birdie kept him inside the top 30 with one round remaining. On Sunday, Miller – who was making his second appearance at Final Stage – recorded a bogey-free 6-under 66 that included birdies on the final three holes. Miller finished tied for 16th at 21-under-par. In 2018 Miller played his way into four Web.com Tour events, posting a tie for 11th back in April's United Leasing & Finance Championship. He also competed at Shinnecock Hills, as he made his second career U.S. Open start.

Past Met Open champion Ben Polland, past MGA Player of the Year David Pastore of Greenwich, Conn., and John VanDerLaan of Southbury, Conn., each earned conditional status on the 2019 Web.com Tour, having advanced to Final Stage.
